This some of my rigs, what you can use for own purposes ;)

Troll
Image
Standard rig, without the IK-FK blenders, but with Verlet deformations of bellies and muscles, you can activate this feature by switch on the corresponding boolean parameter in the Simulation set

Shadow
Image
Rig for testing GEAR plugin. Character is not enveloped

Scorpion_Helicopter

Which is from Avatar movie :-bd

Robot

Full based on ICE.

Download all of these rigs:

local si-community download :-! (latest update: 19th of March)

Later I'll update and add some new rigs. Have fun!

Thank you guys! :)

For now i've been working at one independent movie, but when I finish the work, I get back to make a more rigs! By the way, I'm not a good modeler (look at the Robot #-o ) so if you have hi-poly model of organic creature, preferably with tail, wings and stuff like that, and you can freely share it - let me know, i can make a superb rig for community!

Thank you for posing these. They look great and I'll drop them on rray.de with the next update, if you don't mind.

very cool! :) thank you.
The copter's my favourite - the lag effect is very cool. maybe you could try to do it with ice, so it updates with time. i think that'd be cool, it'll move towards Base even if it's standing still, and you could even add some animatable turbulence effect to that and have the copter wave smootly around it

Good idea! I definitely should try to do that.

So, i done this! ;) Now and Scorpion fully works on ICE. I added turbulance movement effect for each direction and fix slerp effect when helicopter rotates around 720 degrees by Ahmidou Lyazidi compound. Honestly say, this one was a most hard stuff what i've ever do! #:-s

Hello everybody! I updated archive with rigs, fixed some issues with helicopter, added ICE driven two-bone foot rolls for Robot rig and scene with example. At this time I divide the ICE trees, since in other cases it was necessary to apply the usual connection or receive scene with the cycles. And SI was a bitch sometimes when I goes deep in kinematics... :p Local and external links was updated!

I have created a new rig for the Troll model based entirely on the ICE Kinematics, which includes Ahmidou's up vectors, FK-IK blend sliders, soft effectors, rollers and reversers. The rig is enveloped already so you can freely use for own animations. Also I have couple of test scenes what you can find in archive, you can check them out if you interesting in ICE kinematics stuff. Have fun!
