Hello, is this even possible?
I use several files for testing the rig and making adjustments
but sometimes,I would like to keep the poses for future use
Is there any way to save them and load them back in a different file? (with the same skeleton)
thanks a lot on advance
it is possible, but a bit complex to figure it out at first
solution:
http://download.autodesk.com/global/docs/softimage2012/en_us/userguide/index.html?url=files/skel_CreatingNeutralPosesforSkeletons.htm,topicNumber=d28e194388
then Animate > Tools > Import/Export > Import Action to load it back
save character poses in external file

Not 100% sure, if this is what you want, but you might want to take a look at Eric Thivierge's AnimStore plugin...

Re: save character poses in external file
I get the following warning : Error with script file
Error executing the script file
Traceback (most recent call last) File “ <<Scriptblock>>”,line 12, in PoseClick if in_mousebutton== 0 and in_keymodifier == 0 and XSIUtils EnsureFolderExists(oPath) != .... OLE error 0x80020101 - [line 11]
Im using softimage 2011 x64
Also tried 32bit version and while it saves the pose,it does not appear in the pose selection area
too bad though, but thanks for mentioning it
maybe the next version will work

My AnimStore plugin should work fine in 2011. Will test tonight after work. You have Python installed and working fine otherwise?
