are we sharing measuring tools here? i made this one a while ago...

it also does this cool thing where your measurement is copied to the clipboard for pasting. i have been meaning to do more with it, especially a protractor tool like zoltan has done. but i just haven't had time, but its open source and free for other to extend.

64-bit only version downloadable from here

Description of the tool:

Left mousebutton:
This starts the measure. The next leftclick will begin a new measure at the current position.

Right mousebutton:
Resets the tool, you can then use a new startpoint.

Shift + left mousebutton:
Will add a new point to existing ones.

Middle mousebuton:
Change the mode to angular and shows the angles between the lines.
The next click change back to the distance mode.

The standard snap options can be used to change the snapping modes, also the region size.
