Impressive... especially the second and the third video.
Any chance of a "making of"?
;)

First one and the second one is done in mental ray and I used also sIBL_GUI with hdri to get nice refraction/reflaction , the third one is Vray except the caustic pass done in mental ray and comp with beauty in after fx .
I want to thank "Kel Solar" for his hard work on sIBL_GUI .

Thanks for the info, really nice, didnt expect mental. Could give out some rendering time info? You had a render farm? or was a single machine doing this? Cause i might have some glass animation project soon and i'd like to know what expects me :)

Thanks again

Thanks again

In first commercial the res was 1280*720 , it take about 1 to 2 minute per frame when bottle in the center of screen and 4 to 5 minute in some frame when bottle cover most of the screen on (Cpu Intel I7 ).
We have a render farm with 26 i7 machine .
I'v made a quick breakdown to the first commercial , i will upload it tomorrow .

For the second commercial there are about 12 Passes some of them matte and motion vector , so in range of 5 minute in frame for all passes .

The last one was vray and the frame take about 5 to 7 minute with GI low setting (in a glass and reflection environment like this , you don't need a high gi setting ) , vray was amazing in term of getting the look i want really fast compare it to mental ray , i didn't do a lot of composting work like the mental ray one , but it still has some bugs and unsupported feature, but the choas group guys is working very well on it and they work on vray Rt and Distributed render in the upcoming service pack .
