Hiding models, but not instances of them

Post by Grubber » 05 May 2015, 22:40

Hello all,

I have couple of models in my scene, and few instances of them. When I hide meshes of my models, meshes of instances become hidden too. I wonder if there is a way to hide meshes of models, so that meshes of instances remain visible?

Thanks in advance.

That's not possible. All object's properties are reported on instances.

or you could turn on "instance master hidden" on the visibility property of the main model (and meshes)

everything is possible
