Deform by Curve ...

Post by Frank1000 » 16 Feb 2013, 13:16

Hi,
I was trying to deform a polymesh by a curve, I followed the manual and played with the Constraint settings in the Curve Deforme Property Edityor, but my object wouldn't yet deform at all.

Any help very appreciated.

Change the Axis to be "X" instead of Y, then use the roll paramter to like 90 to set it straight in vertical

now i was trying to align a logo to a curve, but it comes odd. I followed the manual and a vimeo video, but for me the object comes displaced in space and seems to follow something else than the curve i've used for deformation.

Any idea around how to solve this ?

Regards,
Frank

ok, gotit. I had to first copy and freeze the text object. Then rotate it by 180 degree in y and freeze rotation and scaling before doing a curve deformation. Then it worked fine.
