Fabric Engine 2.1 is out

Hi everyone - a quick note to let you know that Fabric 2.1 has now shipped: http://fabricengine.com/whats-new-in-fabric-engine-2-1/

From my view, the coolest stuff is the new attribute presets:



We've been pushing hard to make it easier to ramp up with Fabric, and these presets (our equivalent to ICE compounds) should hit the spot.

This is looking more and more accessible with each new update. This one significantly advances fabric for deforms.my area of interest.

Very interesting!
The second video touches many interesting topics, but goes way too fast for my NOOB-liking... :-ss ;)
Hope there will be a "lighter"/"slower" follow-up tutorial with more additional info more geared towards actual beginners.

Indeed it looks like FE guys addressed a number of apparently some of the most important or asked-for things! Anxious to hear how much these changes improve usability/functionality (and also what would be left to address compared to ICE)
