I've been trying the Mac version. So far it seems like a reasonable PS replacement for my photo needs. The only annoyance so far is slow RAW loading.

I tested it only a few minutes and my first impression is that It feels like a complete photoshop clone, an awesome one. Some of the shorutcuts are the same which is a great touch, I felt no alienation at first start, complete opposite of Krita so far.

Well.......

Photoshop started it all, at the hands of the brothers Knoll. So yes, everything is a clone <pun intended> :-B

I've been testing Designer, and it's a very nice app with some very smart stuff. It's also in final beta, so it won't be long now for it to appear for sale.
I'll just downloaded Photo to see if I can fiddle with that too.

Just see it this way: It does appr. 85% of the stuff you do in PS and AI with great ease, and it will cost you €120,= in total to buy them.
Is the 15% you're missing worth the subscription?

I will start recommending Affinity stuff to friends who don't want to pay to Adobe, or don't like Gimp or Krita.
For the money it's a solid buy.
