Glad to hear, my pleasure to save it from the "mass extinction event", no big deal just a few hours with busy net :)

i do scripting in xsi very rarely, so quickly forget the basics, but "The Super-Easy Guide to Scripting in XSI" from wiki was always there for me ))

I'm thinking you guys could re-create a softimage wiki on wikia.com, for everyone to edit. Isn't that a wikipedia for everyone's favorite subjects without fear of being deemed NPOV or not newsworthy.

Hi guys,
I have some good news (I think). I have succeeded in getting the data
transferred from the R&D server to Nicolas Leduc who you may know as he was the
one who originally created it at Softimage. He now manages AREA. He has taken a
look and feels confident we can migrate it to anyone in the community who
wishes to host it and has the right technical requirements to do so. The of
migration would not be trivial but he is ready to have an evaluation discussion
with anyone who is interested. If you are interested please email me at my
Autodesk email address (you can cc the forum too to keep everyone in the loop)
Thank you
maurice

Yes, indeed. We need a global Wikia. I mean look at silly tv shows with gazillion references with their own wikia,
why can´t SI have one too? and better? :D

Don't know if its a glitch but the Softimage wiki is gone at the moment.
$ifndef "Softimage"
set "Softimage" "true"
$endif
