Congrats on the next step Solids! Like the website, very clean. Looking forward to the single user licence, and the rental costs look pretty decent.

So the 350 euros for rental means one have to use it minimum of 53.xxx days? Is this 5 computers?
I see this numbers as strange so i must be making some mistake.

The rental price minimum isn't based on single-license rentals. Customers are usually renting 5, 10, or more licences, so you have to think of the 350 minimum in that context.

It's good to see Solidangle going live after the long wait.
We were lucky enough to be part of the beta for the last 3 years, and it was a great experience. I'm loving rendering again.
Try it out and see your art reach new levels of awesomeness....and no, I don't work for Solidangle.

There's no video training for softimage ?
Edit : there is only one for Softimage from fxphd, but there are tons for maya.

Workflow is the 99% same for both, some shaders are different between Maya and SI.
FXPHD has the Arnold 101 that is fully explained in SI.

great to see it's slowly becoming public. congrats
how about a student license? it is a pricey rendering solution i have to say. it seems by now a lot of post- and vfx houses are using it and i assume a bunch of licenses have been sold... so why is it still so expensive?
just on the side
cheers
