A little late for everyone to learn German, I'm afraid... :D

No, nice teaser...
Too bad I won't be able to make it! ^#(^

[GERMAN]"Hals und Beinbruch" und natürlich viel Spass ;) [/GERMAN]

Great Vids.

Although my German is a bit rusty, I still could follow most of it.

Thanks for this, the meeting was a bit too far from where I live, and showing the vids is just great ^:)^

cheers,

@scaron
OK, I´ll translate some things..:..Eric plans to release some bigger updates in early 2010. emFluid will be able to deal with densities, heat and all those things, emRPC will get some more render algorithms (selfshadowing...). There are also plans to implement CUDA accelerations in every plugin (where possible and usefull..)

@rork
..well, perhaps you´ll make it next year...! Would be nice to meet you..!

cheers,
oliver

Hi Steven,

I plan to release emTree in January 2010. Cannot make any promises, though, as there still is a lot of stuff to code. At the moment I have 4/5 "construction sites":
-emFluid2 (upgrade)
-emRenderPointCloud (upgrade)
-emPolygonizer (update)
-emTree (working on version 1.0)
-emNewton (R&D, maybe a new release)
This hardcore project-hopping is, well ... :-s

Any personal preferences what you would like to see released first ?

Cheers,
Mootzoid - the lonesome nerd warrior :-B

i have no preference really... they all are interesting and deserve attention. of course if there are bugs you should probably sort those first

I just watched the videos over at the website - thanks for that! It's great that you went to the trouble.

One thing that got my attention though, I watched the Vray for XSI video and in it he says that the reason development is so slow is that not enough people are signed up to the Beta. Apparently all you need to do is register on the website, however I've been checking their website regularly for months and haven't seen anything of the sort! Seems strange.... I'm gonna email them now and see what's up....
