from my point of view, integrated sculpt is a great addition. Cannot compete with mudbox or zbrush, but workflow will gain tremendously. Look at modo or blender, where the usual modelling tools poly by poly is supported by a more or less evolute sculpting solution, can modelling extruding or beveling as usual and use a move brush or push brush for adjust your shape in fly, or sculpt and adding a loop where you need without the need to remesh (like zbrush), imho cannot replace the need of zbrush or mudbox but is a great workflow enhancement.

Also, rendering seems very interesting.

should decide to try this software, seems very promising.

The only issue for me is... cinema is another software :D the only idea of learning a new software fell me sick

but rendering seems very fast and simple (argh... mental ray...), output look very nice, body paint look great and also rigging and autorigging seems a great solution, and from what I read around the net cinema stability is legendary

GUI seems too coloured for my taste

:)

Another point: Maxon add other minor features but they don't publicize it in the major release selling points, like renewed xpresso interface (seems more "sexy" now)

AD used putting bug fixes as news, or even in SI2013 I read a cryptic "modelling improvement" , where is? After a bit of consideration, I understood they intend the addition of 3dsm interaction mode like a improvement in modelling workflow, this make me :))

hehe I know how to use that damn software:) I discontinued using it many years ago for it was more expensive than Maya an it still is! Matarial system was a joke, modeling tools were crap and I don't know what they did to it after my departure:) Sculpting tools really someting maybe I should take a look at C4D again who knows maybe they can change my mind maybe autodesk will after the release of new version of SI:)

Definitely AD releases looks like hotfixes compared to Cinema, Modo, Houdini and Lightwave ones ...

since the last release of Softimage was the search for a new product which has not stop develop. Look at new features in one release, we have similar amount for a 3-4 years.
Was surprised of Lightwave. Began to look for products that were previously considered not serious.
