Announcing the next London user group meeting organized by Softimage Creatives, on Tuesday November 13th. (http://www.softimagecreatives.com/siclondon/?page_id=1218)

We've a somewhat different format this time around, with more of a focus on the presenters, but still plenty of space for catching up with fellow Softies and networking. We've got a really exciting line up of presenters ready to show off their work with Softimage:

- Helge Mathee (R&D Engineer, FabricEngine)
The guys from Fabric Engine will be there to show the Creation Platform and how it works within and alongside Softimage. They’ll be covering the following:
What is Creation Platform and why should you care?
Realtime rendering in Creation
Simulation Tools: Hair, Fur, Fluids, Particles
Integration with Softimage
- Anna Kubik (CG Generalist, Studio AKA)
The creative process of Oscar nominated short “A Morning Stroll”
- Alex Hammond (CG Lead, The Mill)
- Ian Baxter (FX TD, The Mill)
Showing their fantastic set replacement work making a giant hole in a house for the Honda commercial “Leap”. Watch the commercial here.

Full details including registration (don't forget to register!) can be found here!

The story of Softimage in a nutshell? =))

On a more serious note: I second Letterbox' request for some video recordings.
And I wish you all a successful night and a lot of fun, also, obviously...
