Yeah, again sorry about that, I thought you might have a found a way around the 3DTutorial limitations... Wishful thinking I guess... ;)

As to your link: very OT, obviously, but =)) nonetheless...

:( no way...

I still use a Download Manager and WinRAR (x64). When I don't stop the unzip/unrar process, the "Tutorial 2.flv" file wasn't write to the destination.

Just I have another idea *-:) let me try...

Well, I see Redi-Vivus no longer offers the 3D Tutorial stuff...
This comes as somewhat of a shock to me, as I was under the impression this would stay part of the R-V lineup no matter what. (And I was planning to reinstate my 32 bit PC) But okay... Maybe a little warning of this planned move beforehand would have been nice... :(

Instead of whining, can't you for once see the positive side of things.

Redi-Vivus offers ...

Autodesk Softimage Production series
Autodesk Softimage Certified instructor 6.x training series
Autodesk Softimage ICE training series
Autodesk Softimage Workflow training series
Autodesk Softimage 2008 Siggraph Production Challenge
Autodesk Softimage Behavior Training
Autodesk Softimage TD Love

And soon Autodesk Softimage Certified instructor 7.x training series

ALL FOR FREE ........

In fact I doubt if there is ANY application out there that offers this much FREE training.

NO other, and I mean NO other, 3d application has more free training than Letterbox Animation Studios offers. FACT.

And what every way you slice it, that is and will always be the most AMAZING/BRILLIANT/STELLAR/... achievement ever.

The End.

Whining? :-\

edit: At the time of writing I was "very unhappy" with said wording, let's leave it at that... I should probably have edited this post earlier... I apologize for sounding too strong/harsh!!!

Guys,

Please read the page on Redi-Vivus about this:

---------------------
3DTutorial.com and Letterbox Animation Studios announce that 3DTutorial.com's training material for Softimage XSI is being withdrawn immediately from distribution and will no longer be available.

The material has reached end-of-life status and is now obsolete. Moreover, due to legal obligations 3DTutorial.com can no longer sell, support or distribute this material and must with immediately withdraw it.

Please be advised that neither Letterbox Animation Studios or 3DTutorial.com will be supporting or distributing this material any further in future. No correspondence can or will change this legal requirement.

ALL RIGHTS to this training material remain vested with 3DTutorial.com.

3DTutorial.com and Letterbox Animation Studios have very much enjoyed working together and being able to make this material freely available to the public over the past year and we hope you've been able to learn from it.
-------------------------

Look at it at the bright side, there's great stuff coming up soon :D

And remember: ALL THIS STUFF IS FOR FREE!!!!!!!!!! The kind people at LetterboxAnimationStudios have no influence on outside forces.

Be nice.... :ymhug:

any word on when the Redi-Virus training will be open for public download again? I was really looking forward to getting the rest of those Production tuts.

(I know we're waiting for Companies to finish downloading them first... just figured i'd ask to see if that was actually happening.)

also, i would think bit-torrent would go a long ways in deploying these large files... just a thought.
