I think for original image you must ask Tim Borgmann.

Personally I always disliked the hoodie. The design of the XSI 4 & XSI 5 splash screens was more to my taste...

Here's a Nullsoft installer for the splash screens/icons from this thread, works for 2013 SP1, 2014 (all SPs) and 2015 (Windows).

Couldn't find out a way of replacing the window title so far, would be cool if s.o. found out!

To restore the original state go to Windows control panel->programs and functions->Softimage survival pack uninstall :)

https://si-community.com/download/lb/rr ... k_v1.5.exe

(Use on your own risk ofc .. btw nothing gets deleted, original files just get renamed to "*original")

Thanks Rray :)
installed succesfully!!
How to choose the splash screen once your app is installed?
Can your "Softimage Survival pack" add new features and bug fixes to Softimage 2015?? :)

2015 version will be added if it's got the ugly icons too (which seems likely). [now added..] bug fixes: only a few would be possible. the rest would require source code access to even have a chance. added features would be possible through the usual plugins system.. but no concrete plans so far
splash screens can't be chosen there's only a different one for each SI version.

I updated the "Softimage Survival Pack" yesterday for Version 2015 so you can have the (imho) better looking icons and the splash screen for that one too.
Also packed two handy little features in there (Multi selection of objects from ICE "get data" nodes + adding a "custom ICE operator" to several objects with one click)

(see a few posts before for the link)

I like the Softimage 2015 icons and splash screen from Autodesk, actually ;)
what do the replacement look like? I don't want to run an arbitrary .exe ...

If you use Resource Hacker you can replace the bitmaps manually. I used RH for the first time after it was mentioned in this thread and it was really easy to use.
