I am unable to read Russian too. I use Google. Mr.Core is here in this forum so if he wishes also can give his idea

But i will post pictures if something new appears.

Edit, very short resume: he doesn't know when/how it will be released , the target is at minimum FumeFX quality.

EFX is a prototype of my own fluid solver since silly 3dsmax along with pflow is piss me off when using fumefx there. I am even not sure if I can to complete such nontrivial task. I am going to post demo to vimeo first and then here, when i have what to show. Right now there is almost nothing :-)
Here is a couple of examples though:

Thanks for the feedback Mr.Core.
The still image has the shadow issue which i suppose you still not implemented.

Gonna take quite some time till its on the lvl of fumefx i guess :)

Good work so far. Interesting to see how its evolving and also what emfluid5 is gonna look like.

Looks great :-). Is it rendered using the typical colume shaders?

What's wrong with the shadows? They look good to me.

They are solid, while the smoke isnt solid :)

I see your point since parts of it are not solid, but it seems it has a too strong optimization threshold that makes them change suddenly from okay to too strong shadow.
