I'm working on it!
And hopefully Oliver (owei) will upload the Ubertage presentation some time next week (#). It does not cover all the emFluid5 things, but it should give you a pretty good overview of what the new emFluid5 is about.

(#) he is currently on a job in Munich.

Hey gang,

An update of emTopolizer, emTools and also emPolygonizer4 is available.
No "biggies", only a few little fixes and some additional little tools, especially in emTools.

Here is a quick video tutorial in which I show the new stuff and talk about it a bit:

Cheers!
Eric

Thanks Eric, I'm liking all of the new tools, and I'm learning a lot about ICE as I'm using them. I've hit a small problem with "context" dealing with weightmaps and the Smooth operator. How can I convert a weight map to be accepted by the Smooth or Push nodes?

Hey Adrencg,

You need to copy the weight map values in some temp. ICE data, then you blur that ICE data and write it back to the weight map.

Just have a look at the following emTools demo scene, it's really simple:
"emTools.1.300__BlurVertexData_WeightMap.scn"

Cheers,
Eric

Hi Adrencg, me again.

Er, sorry, I misunderstood your issue, I thought you were talking about the "Blur Vertex Data".

You cannot use weigth maps with emTopolizer, i.e. you cannot control the smoothing with data other than "per object".

Cheers,
Eric

He Eric,

What ever happened to that very cool branch tool you showed us once? Cannot recall the name, but you were able to branch out several separate models into one big structure.
Sorry if I awaken things up that needed to be not to... lol!!

Ah... yes! That was the name. :)

It looked so promising, but I can recall you didn't have much time exploring it further.

How's things btw??
