Re: ICE Tutorial Requests
id love to see some tutorials based on shattering objects...similar to 3ds maxs rayfire tool.

@opentarget
..well, since ICE by now is not able to build geometry, that will be not a easy task ;) Shattering objects can by now only be achieved by hand or using some certain plugins, though using ICE to do the rigid body stuff, dust and so on...why not..

Re: ICE Tutorial Requests
Okay so I guess I owe you guys an explanation...
As you might have noticed none of the requested tutorials did go up.
The reason for that is that I'm currently crazy busy with life, gotta go to school, to work and I also have my Finals for this year coming up.
I thought I could pull these tutorials off despite these timeconstraints, but as it turns out I can't.
All of that however will be pretty much done in the end of September.
In the meantime I uploaded the first 2 parts of the ICE Basic Series which you can watch here.
Sorry for the delay guys *dugs away from tomatoes*

Re: ICE Tutorial Requests
Too bad, but highly understandable:
some things do/should actually have a higher priority than si-community work!!!
(Oh: as I am known to be cynical at times, this isn't meant to be cynical!!!)
We'll just have to wait a little bit longer...
Meanwhile, I would like to offer a request for the Basics-series, but only when you have got enough time for it, obviously... A topic I would be very much interested in, would be "Arrays in ICE". I understand the concept of Arrays in programming, but am struggling with it's icy implementation... ;)

Stay safe, sane & healthy!
