Does any one know if it's possible to use a specie's rig with Crowd ?

Well just animating the different cycles on the rig. Plot the "deformers" objects transforms for each cycle. Delete the control hierarchy and then the standard workflow for CrowdFX...

Hi Eric,
just looking at your reply there. Do you mean plot or store action ?

Store the actions for all the deformer objects (there is a group under the main model) for every frame during the cycle. You need to store every frame because the animation fcurves are on a different hierarchy of control objects.

I've been meaning to do a tutorial about this. Might try to do one next week.

Hi Eric,
just to say if you could make that video it would be awesome ! You'd be changing our world for the better in the sense that that is the workflow we prefer but it seemed too complicated. We actually just wanted to use your rigging system and not the body mesh, but, if you do a video think how fantastic that is that you can constantly make variations as your body system allows and therefore it would the perfect match for a crowd system, just bringing another character/actor to variate the crowd.
I don't know if it's possible but it would be cool to access the clusters on the single mesh in the crowd system and variate the colors, giving that particular actor more variation.
Anyways .... Here's hoping ...
