how to T_Pose a model usin xsi character?

hi guys
how can i make a t-pose out of a ready model ( that defenatly is not t-pose) using xsi rigged character.?
i tryed but after using the gator or re-enveloping the model to the posed xsi character, boom..!! everything goes offset a looot. :-

Did you try selecting the bones (deformers) and going to Envelope > Set Reference Pose after you gator / re-envelope?

thanks , it worked, although it crashes the 1st skin, nut i duplicate and froze it, and re enveloped it. thanks again dude. :)
