how Constraint Nulll to point

Post by Boris » 03 Oct 2012, 19:28

Hello there ! i have a little question , how constraint a null to a point on the surface, so that when we drag point the null is also moving and vice versa !?

Thank you for reply !
but , it's not enough, I need that the point of surface can control the position of null, and vice versa. when I change face shapes through blend shape all the nulls was left behind forms. how fix it ?

Whoops yeah i thought that worked - could've sworn i just used that simple method on a face once... but i seems it doesn't #-o
Anyway this script works to constrain the null so it moves when you shape animate it - Use the "null to point" option http://xsisupport.com/2012/03/13/oo-add ... in-python/

But then the null the won't move the point - off the top of my head i don't know how to make it do both :ymblushing:

You can't do both -- that would be a bidirectional constraint and it isn't supported. It would create a dependency cycle. So you can have one (Object to Cluster constraint) or the other (Cluster Center deform) but not both.

Select the Vertex > Create Cluster. Select the Null > Constrain > Object to Cluster. Done. No need for scripts.
