Explorer alternative that collapses image sequences?

Post by Draise » 08 Nov 2016, 13:40

As if in the File Browser of Softimage...

Say you have an image sequence, in the explorer you can select an exandable/collapsable item with the whole image sequence then draga and drop, cut and paste the damn thing around?

Does anyone know of an alternative software that does this?

afaik... nope.

This is something that is built into Windows, but only some apps use it.
I would love it to have tabs -and- this feature in the Windows Explorer. But that will probably never happen with MS.

Till than I use XYPlorer, at least I have tabs and a decent search tool ;)

Damn.. so software that's sequence agnostic - including the default Windows will.. have to continue with folder workflows?

I'll keep that in mind for future projects...... silly little mistake.

I think I'll try make some noise in the Tech Preview to try add some votes for those features - since the want to be more "creative" and cator to that market... you never know.

Isn't there one of those frame players that can work as file browser too?
