That IS amazing, but please don't let that give you the misleading impression that this is anything but an enormous pain in the arse to achieve in lightwave.
Chris is known for his extraordinary tenacity to pull stuff off in LW that is bordering on impossible, but it takes an age and is a terrible fight all the way.
I have first hand experience, having worked with LW doing character creature work for 10 years.

Watching Chris do this makes me imagine what he could do if he moved to a package which makes his process fluid.
