Hello, I´ve seen a video tutorial where the guy explains that he uses a "random"
function to "color" each object with a random-non-repeating color for later compositing.
Anyone knows such technique? or recalls where could the video be found?
Thanks.
David.

Generally though in compositing it's better to just seperate out your beauty passes and just put them over each other and do your colour correction on the pass itself...using mattes like these will give alpha problems all the time...
Unless you have cases where objects go back and forth in front/behind each other...then I would use holdout mattes for those.
