Audio in FxTree or Composite?

Post by Rez007 » 07 Nov 2011, 21:01

I just wanted to double check in case I have missed something...is there any way to sync audio in either the FxTree or Softimage Composite? So far I can't find anything nor documentation on it, so I am guessing there is no way to do it. Please let me know if I missed something.

Thanks.

As far as the FXTree is concerned, I think you're right. All audio sync stuff should be handled as part of the animation process, I guess, that's why all the nice tools related to audio reside in the Animation Mixer...

PS Just looked at the Composite Manual and couldn't find anything there either...

Thanks for the verification. You are right about the animation mixer, which would work great if I have to sync something specific. I tend to always do my final sound editing after everything is completed, and that would be great if I was able to do it in the FxTree or Composite. I find this to be a major limitation - this is pretty much the only thing that I cannot do within Softimage...

Thanks Again.
