Is normal behavior render tree only shows 1 texture?

Post by sirdavid32 » 26 Feb 2010, 17:34

Hi, I got an mix8color node material, and various layers that contain facial expressions trough textures over my geometry (a sphere). But my render tree only shows on texture decal mode, the FIRST texture, even though it´s turned off in the layer´s "in use" checkbox.

Is this a normal behavior in xsi?

...unfortunately: yes...as far as I know
Perhaps you could use some additional openGL/DirextX shaders. They should track the tree correctly and give you the correct result. Just a thought, I do not really know much about the realtime shaders in XSI...

best regards,
