Hi,
is there a way in xsi-explorer / source-clips view, to check an image and find out to which object(s) it belongs ?

How to race back from texture-image to which object uses it
Re: How to race back from texture-image to which object uses it
Manual way , in the explorer
Hit "M" in explorer and right click>expand all (on lib) .
At this point if you select an image clip it gets selected evrywhere..
You have the mats above the image clips, so you can always add to selection all those mat names with ctrl, deselect the clip, and then Rightclick(On the material names.)>Select object with this material.

I don't have xsi in front of me, but the material manager should this.
in the clip tab at the left of the view, select the clip. click the "Highlight Materials From Selected Object"
now you know which materials use an image clip.
next, use the Who Uses tab or select the command to select objects from material, which should be an option in the context menu of the materials
