Filter out objects by Shader ?
Filter out objects by Shader ?
Is there a filter for selecting all objects with a specific shader, I want to isolote objects when texturing.
Re: Filter out objects by Shader ?
right click on material ?
Re: Filter out objects by Shader ?
Do you mean, right click on the 'material' filter within the filter button ? If so that is not what I want.
Suppose you have a scene with 50 objects, three of those objects have a phong shader, the rest don't and you want to select only those objects with the phong shader, some would try to find the object then isolate selection within the viewport, this can be tedious when you have 50 objects and you want to speed up finding objects with a specific shader.

In the material manager, in the render tree view below the library, there are some tabs that give you other shader options; for example: "who uses" tab which will list all the objects and clusters with that shader applied.
You can select all or some of those elements and apply other shaders freely.
