Redshift Toon material for Softimage

Post by sirdavid32 » 15 Feb 2019, 07:55

Hello, I don´t know if there is anyone using Softimage that has acquired some toon shader look using Redshift?
I went around the net and found out this guy uses the Ambient Occlusion using object bent normals, with zero falloff and zero spread to "cut" to a ramp
connected node to get the material result. This in combination with a very strong (500+ energy) light give him almost no
"spread" or smooth montecarlo shading, but a harsh (nice ramp) toon shader effect.

I was wondering if anyone has tried a method to get RS toon shading in Softimage?
