Remember Me
Remember Me
Hello. I wanted to share a personal project I finished recently. It is based off some concept art I found a while back. Just another personal project to practice character creation. Luckily Anto updated Kristinka while I was working on this. And, he gave some attention to the Curls option to help with the dreadlocks.
Let me know your thoughts.

Re: Remember Me
Beautiful (as always).
More technical info, maybe: renderer, render time, cloth system used etc? You know the drill...

Re: Remember Me
Hey all. Thanks for the comments. Some more info;
Cloth - Marvelous designer. Then zbrush
Render - Arnold. Render is split up into about 30 different passes. So render time is really unknown. But my largest pass takes about 7 min.
Not much else to it really. Just worked diligently on sculpting and materials hoping it came together and did not look to uncanny
Here is the sculpt for the head and clothes

Re: Remember Me
Really good job!
My only thought is about the jacket.
Because the jacket is already that tight, is it possible to close it?....

Re: Remember Me
Ha! Your right. The jacket is a little to tight to close. Thanks for pointing it out

Hi Christopher, very good job, congratulation.
thank you for showing a little bit behind the scene and process. What did you use to do the hair?

Re: Remember Me
I used Kristinka of course It is a basic follow curves setup. I just added an extra Execute port in the compound to allow modifiers only for the strands effected by the curves. Then I could boolean the modifiers on and off while laying out my curves. I also set the initial strand length to 0, so I do not get a bunch of frizz at the scalp. I should have spent a little more time making more loose hair, so it does not look so tidy at the hair line. But oh well.
