Hi everybody,

I recently won the Stan Winston Robot Design Contest for my model, Robobeast. I created the rough concept mesh in ZBrush, and then took it to Softimage 2013 to build all of the final hard surface, water tight geometry. Softimage is a real great modeler for building water tight geometry for 3D printing. You can see the final 3D printed model at the Legacy Effects Blog: http://legacyeffectsblog.com/robot-desi ... st-winner/.

@Falam: Hahah, yes a new toy indeed. Thank you!

@dwigfor: Yes, Jason Lopes of Legacy Effects did a great job printing it. Thanks for your comment!

Seeing our images remembered me of Battle Cat, He-man side-kick. Don't ask me why! :P
