Hey there!
Long time i dont post something :)
I did this for a special person and felt like sharing!
The idea behind is who between the 2 ladybugs is smarter to reach first the droplet :p

I hope you like it

Softimage and Mental Ray, lighting is just an infinite and an HDRI using my compound for environment :)

Nice one!

Personally I would like to see a little bit more focus on the bug (less blur), but that's me nitpicking ;-)

p.s. still haven't had any time to play with the preset stuff :-\

its nice,
but i would change some things. first the dof, its way to smooth and looks unnaturell, for me its to painterly.
the leafs needs some more geodetails, changes in the shapes itself (way to uniform at the moment) and also a displacement which would bring in more surfacedetails. and i think you should increase the reflection of it with more texture details. for the lighting i would try to add a spot with softshadows to bring in more contrast.
