Hello guys, here is last image i created.
Softimage and Mental Ray, 3 portal lights, unified sampling + final gathering.

Looks great... The slightly "weird" perspective was intentional, I assume (or is it merely a "lens thing")?
Or is it just me & there is nothing "weird" going on?

I like the contrast of organic versus mechanic.

A suggestion, I would raise the reflectivity of the glass container up a bit so that it does not look like a see-through container (maybe it's the angle of the camera versus the lights).

I guess, we are not suppose to touch the red butto........arrrrgh!

here is a little update, thanks for the feedback, added a bit of reflections on the glass and changed the lighting so it has a more dramatic impact.
Added dof too with bokeh lens, thanks again for comments :)

ahah, i lowered it a bit, was too heavy and the eye focus in the red pillar in the middle so it cant be that blurred :(
still tryin to get a good balance! Also it kills all the metal details which is bad..i'll see what i can do!
