Cool. Do you have plans to add some movement to entire character. Should invoke a more of simulation.

thanks Mathaeus, :ymblushing:

sure, i will add more in future, now i'm doing some cloth things. I consider between simulation and unsimulation for anime character, for a dynamic anime's animation i think it's will be good if i don't invoke simulation, and it will give me more control later.

Hi anhungxadieu,

For anime style, I highly recommend avoiding cloth simulation. If you're going for something stylized like Appleseed 2 ExMachina, then you could add some simulation, but I would limit it.

Here is what I would recommend.

- For hair, use Helge Mathee's mt_Spring plugin, downloadable here.

- For rigging, I highly recommend Masashi Yamaguchi's myRig. Gives you everything you need in one simple humanoid rig, allowing you to control anything from cartoony to hyper realistic characters.

- Last but not least, keep the animation limited, and simple if you're going for an anime style in 3D. You can learn more tips from Guilty Gear's presentation.
All characters are 3D yet look convincingly 2D:

What rendering package are you using ?

All the best

well thanks xsi_fanatic,

regarding a movie from Guilty Gear's presentation. I watched again and again when i try to render cartoon style. They say everything just already there nothing new, you only need to find and practice :D. This render i use mentalray, I will post more research and questions also to here. :ymblushing:

Hi man,

This is looking so much better. I'm curious to know how you did the eyes and the mouth. Please share. I have to learn this :-t ^:)^

I did an anime character a while back and want to continue down this path. But it's hard to do a convincing anime in 3D especially when it comes to the mouth and the eyes.

Here's a post of my blog.
