Wow mate - stunning work. Just a preference thing, but the backplate seems kind of arb? The car definately stands out though. 5 stars from me mate - well done. Hope Arnold comes to the individual.

Thanks guys:)

@SquirrelSa - Yeah there are better backplates out there for sure, they are also however not free:( I've had a look at some of the paysites(hdri4you, maground etc) but just didnt find any i like enough to pay upwards of 20 euros for...

Anyhow, here's a render of the two different wheelsets from Novitec Rosso, I modeled the set on the yellow car a while back but never used them...

You can find a higher res render here: http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2013/327/6/a/ferrari_458italia_novitecrosso_runway_by_nasg85-d6v9uty.jpg

Very nice renders, just curious, what are the render times of interiors and on what machine?

The interior was rendered at double HD, so 3840x2160. I think the render was between 15- 20 hours on an ivybridge 3770k with 32gb ram. The scene hovered at about 12gb ram usage when rendering. I'm sure i could get the render time down to say 10-12 hours with a bit of fine tuning but as this is a personal project there's no real pressure to be pedantic about render times. I would render overnight most nights, if it wasnt finished i would just leave it and check it when i would get back from work...

Insane results mate, and brilliant work . . . all of this with huge render times, but if that's what it takes.
Really inspiring stuff Nas. Good Christmas to you mate.

Holy crap, are all those details modeled?

Looks freaking great man.
Would you mind posting a wire of that rear headlight?

Would be nice if could try to render it with Redshift, wich is pretty amazing, you could try it for free for 30 days, i'll be courious how how fatser you could render it.
I think 1 day is enough to convert all shaders :)

@McNistor: Heres a pic. It's so difficult to see exactly what goes on in there...

@fabilabo: I'v never used redshift renderer? It would be interesting to try but especially since gpu renderers for xsi are few and far between...
