Will take a bit of a break with some real ghostbusters stuff and then move on to act two when done.


More old versus new stuff

Shadows will be better this time around. i learned a new trick to make them seem a little more natural, i hope.

but I STILL need to know how to do proper lighting in XSI, and make things seem brighter.
using after effects for that stuff is annoying.

can you tell why i wanted to go back and redoo it?

halfway point of act one will be reached tomorrow.
much less to fix up this time around because it's all been done before.

this WILL be the last episode. the excitement of these projects is starting to fade fast now that i know how they'll look when they are completed ;o).

more old versus new. as you can tell, i have since learned how to properly set up a set in the perspective view so it all fits in the last three years

last of the big act one sets almost finished. hoping to get it all of act one done in the next week or two and then will work on fixing things up a little

someone suggested a technique a few years ago that wasn't exactly what i was looking for when i tried it

three shots left to complete in act one. a little under three weeks of constant work. fastest yet.

fixups will be saved for last this time. i am trying to plow through this one as i am loosing interest a bit in doing full episodes. but i hope people are seeing that it was worth an upgrade for one last time.

a bit of a break. will be working on a few new unique buildings to circulate. finishing a bit more of the turtle layer setup. and some work on the RGB intro and then maybe late may will resume this one. hope to be more than halfway done by july 4th.
