Hi, just to point out that...

the character's gaze, their animation, and overall feel,
all considerably improved, great job!

You should seek-out comic-book/ animation forums and post there as well!

kudos!

I love when i get actual comments that people actually enjoyed it :). most of the time people only check in to trash it, or to tell me it looks like a PS1 animation. which is why I usually DON'T post this thing on only a select few forums where i know people will appreciate the amount of work that goes into it :).

Now being on my fourth episode, i'm starting to learn when things don't look right, and where i can try and improve on things. i'm happy to see that other people are starting to notice that as well :)

It's also the reason why I am going back and redoing 'The Big Rip Off'. That was last done wayyyy back in 2013, and i've learned alot since then. so i know i can make it look nicer. that way, at least THREE shows will look almost concurrent. Two shows with one set of models, two shows with a newer set of models :)

then it will be time to move on and figure out what to do next.

While it's definitely important to be able to take criticism (not always easy),

it's also important to not let ourselves get braught down by "gratuitous free bashing" (specially on youtube lol)
(and then go on pushing)

Also, have you considered actually removing the corner stamp?

Or perhaps leaving it at the start only?

Cheers!

Normally i can, so long as it's criticism in a respectful way. usually it's not :)

the stamp is there to remind people not familiar with the show to see what it originally looked like :)

first two minutes of rip off almost done. Act one will be the easiest, with least animation needed.
Will take a bit of a break with some real ghostbusters stuff and then move on to act two when done.

Shadows will be better this time around. i learned a new trick to make them seem a little more natural, i hope.

but I STILL need to know how to do proper lighting in XSI, and make things seem brighter.
using after effects for that stuff is annoying.

i can make the shadows look better, but creating realistic looking candle light will still be tough...

the end of a long journey.

this WILL be the last episode. the excitement of these projects is starting to fade fast now that i know how they'll look when they are completed ;o).

a nice look down memory lane, three years ago, and today. started way back on xsi base ;o)

more old versus new. as you can tell, i have since learned how to properly set up a set in the perspective view so it all fits in the last three years :)

last of the big act one sets almost finished. hoping to get it all of act one done in the next week or two and then will work on fixing things up a little
