ty! I was expecting redshift to take like 15-20 minutes, didn't think it would be that fast. I hope they'll keep supporting XSI.

Finally finished the Baby model for selling on turbo squid :

This is the obj file with "old copper" PBR exported from 3D coat using the Arnold exporter preset. Works quite well out of the box some more tweaks will be needed to get a similar look than above

Had to makr the retopoly in ZBrush , 3D coat auto-topo didn't work well with that object, and for manual retopo it's too complex.

Thanks pal! Was around 3 weeks, using 3D-coat for modeling the hair and eyebrows, also shading/baking
Marvelous Designer 3 for the scarf
Softimage for modeling the face and the collider object&morph shape for MD,
Softimage for unwrapping (only software I know that can unwrap a 4 million polygon model)
Softimage for rendering (Arnold)

So the face was modeled with good old fashioned "vertex-pushing"? I find that even more impressive. ;)

Nice work :)

How did you do the retopo ? 3D Coat has an auto retopo tool called Autopo. Did you use that for this model ? I'm curious if you would recommend it.

T.Y. all! It's zRemesher + manual tweaks in Softimage. The base part is the original poly model.
I haven't really figured out yet how Autopo works. Sometimes I get great results, better than zremesher, but sometimes it produces trash or runs forever. It probably needs a smooth model to work with. At zRemesher you can throw anything, but what comes out is too smooth so I usually snap back the points to the original mesh using ICE.
