I think it works fine although usually there are a lot of problems with these muscles

It looks good, implementing it to a custom rig still looks daunting.

I agree with McNistor, while the belly case is a extreme situation and it was nicely presented, real use cases are much better to evaluate the thing...
So those last two videos you posted are much better, IMHO, to see what this is all abot. Results look quite nice really!

Really looking forward to testing the Vorlex Muscle System on a couple of characters I've been working on. Here are some screenshots for the first one the first one:

And the rig as it currently stands: https://vimeo.com/73976890

My biggest concern right now is getting good deformation in the upper body / shoulder area since the rest will be fully clothed most of the time. I'll post results as we make progress!

Cheers!

It looks great (also the rig), would you consider giving it it's own thread so ppl can follow your progress?

Heh, you're welcome! :)
But I think man, you can make the common mistake. Beginners often set themselves great tasks, can not cope with them, and give up.
Starting study of the muscle setup with shoulder girdle it's like trying to play the third concert of Rachmaninoff on the 1st course of music school

Shoulder muscles are very complex to configure. Because the shoulder joint, unlike the others, is bent in all directions, and more than 180 degrees. And is twisted. And consists of 3 interrelated muscles (and a few more outgoing muscles). In addition the shoulder rig you see in the video is made in the 3.0 version (and is relatively complex inside).

I think a muscular rigging - it's much more sophisticated matter than regular character rigging. So we recommend, as in any business, start with very simple things. First, set up a couple of simple fusiform muscles, then another couple, and so on.

Anyway wish you good luck. Long way to Fuji starts with the first step.
