MilanVasek wips

Post by milanvasek » 31 Oct 2010, 14:36

Hey. I worked on a tree model one evening and then decided to create an image using that tree... well, just a base mesh, without instanced leaves...

here is the tree:

Very good Milan!

You seem to be developing your own style quite nicely. Was this rendered with 3Delight?

Thanks Sam. Next time I´ll try something even more stylized...
This one is rendered with Arnold. I'm waiting for 3delight for Softimage v3 :)

Cool, it seems everyone is making the switch to Arnold these days.

So many renderers for Softimage, we have never had it so good.

Arnold is great for some stuff (we are using it here at work) and it's great to have a choice...

but, here is a little test done with 3delight again. I was trying to render stuff for a game as small as possible.

it needs better design of buildings and painted textures, but i think it looks promising

Very cool.

It looks a little bit like an ink drawing. It feels like the correct style for that type of building.
