Re: MilanVasek wips
well, it seems like i will never ever finish those big projects at home so i tried something really simple this weekend
Re: MilanVasek wips
Wow i haven't seen this thread. Great things here.
Re: MilanVasek wips
Really nice Milan. The execution is lovely. Definately your style.
When it comes to working in your spare time, small is usually better. I've got a load of big projects I have never had the time to finish.

So beautifull and simples. It servers to show that you don't need all high poly millions of sh*t to make a beautifull image.
Congrats man. Love the mood, the lighting and the 'world'.

I'm happy I "found" this thread ! So many great stuff ! Congrats ! High Skills !
Re: MilanVasek wips
Great work!! I have been using your scatter tools for some time...but never saw this thread or your beautiful work. I am a fan.
Re: MilanVasek wips
Milan, thats awesome work!! I really like the mood and overall colors. I feel you achieved a very painterly style with the first image that is hard to get out of 3D, nice work man!

this is hopefully final version of lava cave with correct gamma (there should be monsters on the right side visible a little bit)
and here is another image from the series
this one needs quite some work...

Beautiful work Milan. Maybe it's just me, but at least the lava scene (but also the others, too) strongly reminds me of Lucasarts' adventure games of the late 80s / early 90s. Which is a good thing
Re: MilanVasek wips
Great lighting, I like that cartoony style :>

Re: MilanVasek wips
wow, beautiful!
Would you share some Infos how you did the shading?
It looks like a mix of some techniques... very nice!
edit: I mean the images with the girl on the planet previous page, btw.

Re: MilanVasek wips
well, there is nothing really special about shading. arnold standard shader, no textures, just simple color and subsurface on almost everything and big soft area lights... + outlines on top rendered with mental raysant0s wrote:wow, beautiful!
