Some compounds don't show up in ICE tree left pane

Why do some compounds not show up in the left pane, or when searching? To use Add Forces, I always have to go into the installation directory of compounds and import. Now today all of a sudden, I have to the same for Group Geometry and Multiply.

Anyone know what causes this?

It seems to be worse overall now. When I type in "vector" to look at the list of vector to scalar nodes, none of them show up at all.

This has happened to me in the past as well,
but I thought it to have been fixed somewhere along the line as I do not experience it myself anymore.
I even logged this with support at the time, but they couldn't reproduce back then.
What version of Softimage do you use and do you use the latest service pack for that generation?
More practically, does hitting the refresh button at the top of the ICE Tree preset manager
bring the compounds back, even if only temporarily?

I constantly have to hit the refresh button to get things to show up.
