Kristinka group separation for shoulder parting
Kristinka group separation for shoulder parting
Is there way to make a Kristinka hairstyle that can be separated in certain sections, to allow for the hair to be split by the shoulder(for example) without interpolation between the groups?

hi,
generally, each 'form' node makes a separate styling, independent of the rest of point cloud.
What's interpolation hair ID in XSI hair (or something with similar name), that you create by 'split hair' command - closest thing in kH3 is one 'chunk' emitted from one triangle, but area is similar to area covered by "guide" in XSI hair. "Form" node takes many of these chunks at once.
Automatically, no, at least not in few new versions. It was something in first version, by distance and angle between guides, but wasn't very reliable. Theoretically, should be possible to write node which does "dynamic hair parting", or one parting line at start of simulation, another at the end - if this is what you mean.
