so if they emit from 50 grids, how to just let them follow the grid which its come from?

just like in the max Pflow, at the emitter, there is a `lock` option, thats lock all the particles onto the emitter source, then follow each plans' movement.

thanks

--the stick to geo compound in ICE is so slow, not very good way to do this.

You could use an ice tree on the point cloud and multiply the emit location of the point with the kine global matrix of the emitter. That should work.

Cheers

Get self.emitlocation > Get PointPosition > Set Point Position ?

I just wonder. This works if the particles were all emitted with the emitter at the null position without rotation.

If the emitter is moving while emitting you need to create a custom emit location attribute in which you store the emit location as a local location relative to the emitter.

Then it should work like discribed. Multiply the custom emit location with the kine global matrix of the emitter.

There's no need for that if you are using the emit location, not position. Locations are relative to the geometry and don't need to be transformed.

O.k. Just wanted to be sure that I present a half-baked idea. Then it should work.

I find a much easier way :D there is a `stick to location`compound, just plug emitlocation to the input location :D
