Hi,

I am dealing with a very strange behavior. It looks that the basic topology functionality has a bug that makes it unusable and i don't believe that it is possible:-)

Ok, here is my the simplest setup:

1)create cube (or something else it does not matter)
2)create ice tree
3)connect Get topology to Set topology and execute it. Nothing more.
4)it looks fine,nothing happend,BUT...
5)translate/rotate or scale this object. It looks that all transforms are bad. it looks that transforms are applied twice(if i move(1,0,0) my cube is positioned in (2,0,0))

Is it only mine problem or it does not work for You too?

I get expected results only when Identity matrix(no transform) is set. For example if i add slice polygon node, everything is sliced correctly until i move/rotate/scale my object.Something is bad in matrix transformations.

thanks for help,

Jirka

Please enlighten us too. Learning from other people's mistakes can be helpful... ;)

:-) ok, Get Topology has Transform Mode switch, no transform works. I still think that there is something strange with Topology and global transforms, but I will think about it longer and post to the forum when i am sure about it:-)
