Best Version of Softimage?

I have been using Softimage 2015 SP1 for awhile now, and to me it feels less stable and slower than older builds (2012 and older). I am curious what version the people of this community find to be the best? By best I mean most stable and with the highest performance.

I can't remember which version it was... 2011 maybe? But one of those versions might have crashed a sum total of 3 times in an entire year for me. Literally 3 times, in 12 months. Then we went to 2012/13, and I was crashing 3-4 times a day.
But now we're on 2014 SP2 and I'm perfectly happy right here.

Software is the only product people will tolerate being crappy, and hoping maybe the developers by some miracle can deliver one version that won't drive you insane. I think 2013 sp1 was that version.

what's that version who just killed every materials and ice trees by disconnecting ??? 2011 ? I recall at least 1 version later this bug was always partially here...
what's that version who just killed EVERY plugin ? 2014 ? (BTW Boooo Autodesk)
so it seems you don't have a very large choice
