rotate vector in the render tree

Post by NNois » 22 Jul 2014, 21:03

hi guys, I'm kind of stuck.
On a point cloud context:

I'm inputing the vector state "intersection point", substracting it by the point position (to get a local coordinate) who feed a uvw coordinate on a fractal texture, Great.
Now i want to rotate this vector accordingly to the particle orientation.
If i was in ice i could use the rotate vector node but in the render tree how do i translate this ?

Thanks

Hi NNois - it should be possible using matrix multiplication, create a matrix using Create_Transform and multiply using Vector_Coordinate_Converter

hup that's works fine. I generate the matrix directly on the ice pcloud that's saving some times i think.

Thank you
