Batch rendering
Hi, what is the easiest way of batch rendering with Softimage ? I've never tried it with Soft only with other software.
Re: Batch rendering
This is simple if you are rendering one scene:
- Open a softimage command prompt
- type in "xsibatch -render dragdropyourscenefile -skip on" the "-skip on" is for multi machine rendering so xsi skip frame beeing rendered
- done
if you have a sequence of scenes, just create a file.bat where you pill up the same thing
xsibatch -render path -skip on
xsibatch -render path2 -skip on
it's important than you use xsibatch and not xsi, because xsibatch is a command line exe and can be executed in sequence
