Motion Vector mip - misassigned vector colors?

Post by Rares » 28 Aug 2013, 19:43

Hello xsi'ers ,

After exhausting the forum, list and online search for a solution I'd like to ask if anyone here has run into a problem with misassigned vector colors in their motion vector mip renders. In my case the object is spinning on it's y axis but renders are showing vector color for x on one side of the object only while the other side is showing vector color for y resulting in strange motion blur in post. I'm using the motion vector (mip) node applied to a motion vector pass shader (output) to produce renders for autodesk composite. I'm working in xsi 2013 sp1 and composite (toxik). lm_2dmv could be a solution if I wasn't having issues with xsi recognizing the shader. Softimage is kicking off some error saying the shader wasn't found even though I installed it as instructed on the site and read me. Hopefully the images are pretty self explanatory. Anyone here run into something like this?

Appreciate it.
