A question about 3Delight rib export in Softimage

Hi,

Can someone explain me how to export RIB files in the archives export tab without rendering the entire scene? I'm able to export the rib file but it also renders the scene. I'm using the demo version of the software. Can someone explain me what version I need or how to export a RIB file without rendering. I'm thinking about buying 3Delight and using it with Royal Render in standalone mode to render Rib scene files. What's the workflow for this?

Should be the same as with MR. In render panel, it's render> export> current pass - or another available option. That is, using left panel of SI, not through PPG dedicated to render options. This should create the sequence of rib files, most likely in render_archives folder of your project.

Then you can render from command line, or using some render manager.
